Hello everyone!

I've been thinking about this for awhile and yes, I've decided to change my username. Why? Because change is good. Especially right now. I could use change. I chose 'asimplesong' back in high school. While still fond of it, I'm no longer in high school and decided to change to a name that actually means a lot to me.

My mom has always called my sisters and I "Gorgeni" - aka gorgeous. And...I love it. It makes me think of my mom and I love my mom. So here's the new songlett!

Please feel free to call me song or songlett lol. It'll take awhile for me to get used to a new name...


As for my artwork, I know it doesn't seem like I'm doing much, but I am. I've been making a lot more crafts/gifts for loved ones. I'm at work from 7:40am to 6:40pm with no access to deviantart or my digital art programs, so my time at the computer has been reduced greatly. I'm gonna open commissions and such (AFTER I finish the ones I already have hahah) soon so I can earn money for a new laptop - that way I can take my artwork with me wherever I go. I hate not being able to get my stuff done lol.

Thank you all for your continued support! I'm trying to be around more, but again its difficult when I don't have ME time until well after 9pm and I'm supposed to be in bed by 10. > I'm working on it!
